Castara Villas offers a choice of vacation rental apartments: a 3-bedroom house, a one-bedroom apartment and a separate studio-style cottage.

Located in the picturesque village of Castara, on the island of Tobago, Castara Villas offers visitors a unique opportunity to visit paradise and enjoy its' stunning scenery, wildlife and of course, the pleasures of sun, sea and sand.

Located on the Caribbean coast of Tobago, about half-way along the Northside Road, our self-catering holiday apartments give the discerning visitor the opportunity to explore this unspoilt island from the best possible location.

The Property

The Castara Villas self-catering holiday apartments are situated on approximately 3/4 acres of ground, accessed by a short pathway from the main road.

The beach and the village centre are a mere 5-minute stroll away, while our location affords privacy from the road. There is no onsite parking, but there are spaces to park on the main road close by.

Castara Villas comprises of separate holiday accommodation units:

Toad Hall - the owners residence
Toad Heights - a 3-bedroom house on the hillside above Toad Hall
Leapfrog - a 1-bedroom apartment located below Toad Heights
Tadpoles - a studio-style detached cottage next to Toad Hall

There is also a communal gazebo called the Liming Station and a cast-iron traditional 'copper' for large cook-outs. All accommodations have their own barbecue facilities. Although our apartments are generally self-catering, catered meals can be arranged in advance for a fair negotiated price with our staff.

The formal gardens are well-tended and have numerous fruit trees and flowering shrubs.

This apartment is a perfect place to stay. Very clean, well fitted and very cozy. Everything is cared very well and you see the love to detail what makes you feel comfortable as soon as you step in. The location of the apartment gave us the privacy to feel like home and still in short walking distance we reached both beaches and all the other things we needed.

Stephen and Rita were great hosts. They were there whenever we need anything, but we also had our own privacy to enjoy Castara, which is a beautiful little fishing village. Staying at Tadpoles was a brilliant Tobago experience. I know that this is aimed at the budget market but it really does have everything you could need. Well equipped kitchen and a comfortable bed. The shower has hot water. The WiFi is also reliable. The addition of a veranda at the back really makes this place. Great for sitting out and having a drink whilst listening to life going on around you....

It was my first time to Tobago, but the 6th for my partner who couldn't wait to return after many years. To be honest when I first arrived I wasn't sure about anything, but by the time we left I could happily have stayed much longer. Terrific location - at the quiet end of the island - apartments are very clean and cozy and have very nice kitchens and showers.
